Register an OTP template

On your DLT portal, e.g. “{#var#} is your login OTP. Valid for 10 minutes. -Brand”.

Create an API key

In VASbay, open My profile › API access and create a key, optionally locked to your server’s IP.

Generate the OTP

Your server creates a random code and keeps it with an expiry time.

Send & verify

Send it with one API call, then compare the code the user types.

Good practice: generate OTPs on your server, keep them valid for a few minutes, allow a few attempts, and never show the OTP in your app’s responses.

Yes. Register an OTP template with your brand name on your DLT portal, with a {#var#} where the code goes, and use an approved transactional sender ID.
Call the VASbay HTTP API from your server with your UID, API key, route, sender ID, number and message. The response is JSON or XML and includes a push ID you can use to check delivery status.
Yes. When you create a key you can set an allowed IP address; requests from other addresses are refused.
